My first full fledged miniature project.

In october 2005, a friend took a look at my miniatures and decided that she wanted me to make a full miniature project for her - The Happy Place. She was getting married in november and wanted to present this miniature scene to her mother as a return wedding gift.

It took me about 6 weeks to complete the whole thing, a little at a time. And by the end of it I had had much fun and a whole bunch of new ideas.

Holding the whole thing - you'll get an idea of the size here.

:)

I had a very hard time giving this 'little world' up.
Unfortunately I had to go out of town on the date of delivery, so I sent my sister to give it to them. Being the sweetheart that she is, she recorded a clip of aunty's reaction when she received the gift. Looking at it made all my efforts totally worth it :)
