Rico and Diego the mustachioed brothers together again

Rico and Diego met at a movie audition. Rico (the red guy) was auditioning to play the character of a man who had just encountered his twin from whom he had been separated at a carnival when he was a little boy. Diego (the yellow fellow) was auditioning for the part of the other twin.

When Diego went up to the stage, he started to sing a song and suddenly there was a whoop and the next thing he knew, the red colored stranger, Rico, was hugging him tightly with tears in his eyes.

It just so happened that Rico and Diego were in fact twins who had been separated at a carnival when they were 8 years old. Fortunately they had a family theme song that their mother had taught them should such an occasion arise.

Through all those years of being apart, the boys never forgot the song. And it was precisely this song that Diego had just broken into when Rico recognized it!

After all these years (30 to be exact), the brothers have found each other again and they couldn't be happier. They have become absolutely inseparable, like all brothers ought to be, and spend every moment together making up for all those lost years.

They enjoy watching the ocean while sitting back to back and like finding shapes in the clouds as they lie on the rocks but the one thing most dear to their hearts is to play hide and seek so they can relive the insanely joyous moment they found one another over and over again. :)

Two fabulously handcrafted, baked and shiny glazed polymer clay beads in rusty orange and turquoise colors hang at the ends of a solid hand oxidized and polished copper chain.

This necklace is has no clasp, you just wrap the chain around your neck and 'tie' the lariat at whatever length you prefer. The beads will dangle down your neckline beautifully.

On Ne Voit Bien Qu'Avec Le Coeur - Le Petit Prince quote necklace

During my years of learning French at the Alliance Française de Bangalore, I had the good fortune of having many wonderful teachers, all with their own style of making the language beautiful for us. The one person who was MOST inspirational, with her passion for French and for teaching, was Mrs. Vidya Suresh. She is one of those teachers who you look at and think, "that's who I want to be when I grow up!" :)

During her course, she introduced us to a story close to her heart, Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince) by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and read us a beautiful quote from it.

"On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."

This means, "One cannot see well but with the heart. The essential is invisible to the eyes".

Such a simple expression pregnant with meaning!

When I decided to start creating jewelry with quotes on it, this was the very first quote that came to mind and I made the necklace immediately.

I created the pendant with two heart shaped, thick (18 gauge) copper bases. I hand stamped the words "ON NE VOIT BIEN QU' AVEC LE COEUR" and hammered and textured them. Then I attached the small heart to the large one with fine copper wire, accented by a few copper rounds beads and a delicate handmade polymer clay rose in a deep red (burgundy) color.

Then I attached the pendant to a solid copper cable chain with a handmade copper clasp.

I put the necklace through an antiquing rainbow patina process to add depth to the designs and hand polished it to bring out the details and give it an old world charm.

The Dance of Abundance - hand stamped affirmation pendant

A fabulous pure copper pendant designed to constantly remind us to be in tune with the abundance of the universe. To move and flow with this energy and to know that we have the power within us to tap into this endless supply of all things good at every single moment of our life.


The pendant has been hand stamped with the word ABUNDANCE then textured and hammered. An intricate wire and bead ensemble was added and then the whole thing was put through a patina process to add depth to the designs. Finally the pendant was hand polished to bring out the details.

Cerlt the Evil - iclay monster sculpture

They call me Cerlt the Evil because I have the evil power to hypnotize anyone and make them do my bidding. As you stare into my deep eyes, you loose control over your own self and become completely susceptible to my commands. Muhuhahahah >:)

But I have a secret side to me that no one knows about. I only use my powers to make you do good things like eat healthy food, be kind to animals, exercise regularly, love everyone, spread peace... you know that kind of hippie, tree hugger kind of stuff.

Shh don't you dare tell anyone. Remember that just because I don't use my hypnotism for evil, doesn't mean I can't! :D

Handmade with iClay, which is extremely light and has a slightly spongy texture.

* iClay is durable and will not break when it falls due to its bouncy texture. But any protruding details are delicate so please handle with care.

I AM BLISSFUL - organic hand stamped copper message pendant

It started with a piece of copper wire which was hammered flat into this earthy, organic shaped pendant. Then the words I AM BLISSFUL were stamped onto it. The copper was then textured and put through a patina process to give it an antique finish. Finally it was hand polished to bring out the details.

A simple, rustic piece of jewelry with a beautiful message. Here's wishing you a constant state of blissfulness :)

Gratitude - hand stamped and antiqued copper pendant

I recently visited this wonderful restaurant called Café Gratitude and was completely taken by the the people, the food and overall the energy of the place. While I was there I happened to read this beautiful sentence about Gratitude. It said "Gratitude is the memory of the heart".

Inspired by these words I have created this pure copper pendant. I hand stamped the word GRATITUDE on it. Then hammered and textured it and put it through a patina process to add depth to the designs. Finally I hand polished it to bring out the details.

Wear this pendant as a constant reminder to yourself and others around you that gratitude is a beautiful state of mind to be in at all times.

Witchy Poo - the little good halloween iclay witch

Witchy Poo is a friendly little witch. She's an obsessive, compulsive cleaner! Even when she was a little girl, her favorite toy was the broom. Then one day the Monsterville fairies wanted to reward her for her good work and gave her a magic broom.

Now Witchy Poo uses her magic broom to sweep away all the unwanted energies from any room she's in and makes the place bright and positive at all times. And then with her beautiful smile she sprinkles love and good cheer into every corner.

Smile - earthy metal and clay pendant

The focal piece of this rustic pendant is a copper ring which was hand stamped with the word 'SMILE' then textured, hammered, oxidized to a rich patina and hand polished to bring out the details. It was then attached to a beautiful, handmade round polymer clay bead in earthy colors which compliment the antiqued copper. The spiral wave dangles at the end of the pendant were hand shaped and hammered out of copper wire and then antiqued and hand polished.
