SWIRLS.

I started out with a few beads, a couple of spools of wire and some pliers... this was the result.

DANCING ROSES.

First I made the beads with polymer clay and then I wire wrapped them into this bracelet and earring set.

SERENITY.

The featured stone here is Rose Quartz. It's metaphysical property - soothing, calming, loving vibrations.

BUTTERFLY PENDANT.

All the detailed designs are MADE with clay, no paints have been used.

CHINNU.

Made this for my sweet little Chinmay (he used to live in the apartment downstairs when we lived at Bloomington and I was highly attached to him). It's a photo transfer pendant embellished with my canework (the method of MAKING designs in clay that look like they might be painted).

My first full fledged miniature project.

In october 2005, a friend took a look at my miniatures and decided that she wanted me to make a full miniature project for her - The Happy Place. She was getting married in november and wanted to present this miniature scene to her mother as a return wedding gift.

It took me about 6 weeks to complete the whole thing, a little at a time. And by the end of it I had had much fun and a whole bunch of new ideas.

Holding the whole thing - you'll get an idea of the size here.

:)

I had a very hard time giving this 'little world' up.
Unfortunately I had to go out of town on the date of delivery, so I sent my sister to give it to them. Being the sweetheart that she is, she recorded a clip of aunty's reaction when she received the gift. Looking at it made all my efforts totally worth it :)

More Miniatures...

ROSES - No matter how many roses I make, I want to keep on making more and more.

PIGGY AND THE TRAMP - a friend suggested that I make a 'Lady and the Tramp' miniature. Since I love piggies so much, I just HAD to do this instead :)

PENGUIN - Check out the bow tie and top hat on this little guy. The pic has the same guy shown in two different angles.

TURTLE READING COMIX - the alphabets took some effort :op

ELEPHANT - Check out her little pink bow.
